Italian singing sensation Patrizio Buanne will perform two shows at Carnival Citys Big Top Arena on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2009. This will be Patrizios third concert visit to South Africa and is happening as a result of continued huge public demand. His legion of fans here have been clamoring for a return visit ever since his last sell-out concerts.
Patrizio is regarded as one of the worlds most exciting singers and entertainers and Italys most accomplished musical export of the last decade. He has earned himself a reputation as a dynamic and engaging live performer, as many a South African fan can testify! Not to mention charismatically good looking.
Patrizios live shows at luminary venues around the world, are renowned for combining his distinctive baritone voice and charming stage persona, with a unique level of audience resonance.
Patrizios visit to South Africa comes on the back of the release of his third album, simply entitled Patrizio, scheduled for release in South Africa on 31 August by Warner Music Gallo Africa. The album is being preceded by the release of the stunning first single, the romantic Youre My Everything.
The album was recorded in the U.S with producer Humberto Gatica who is well-known for his work with Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli and Josh Grobham. This album is drawing on Patrizios heritage and international pedigree, the new repertoire will cover contemporary interpretations of classics from the Italian and American songbooks, as well as original compositions.
Patrizios Live in Concert performances will include tracks from his great new album - songs as diverse as, Crazy, Mambo Italiano, and Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman, as well as some of his best-loved previous hits, such as Il Mondo, Un angelo", "Forever begins tonight, and many more. Outstanding songs like these sung in inimitable style by the charming and debonair Patrizio will undoubtedly make for a truly memorable occasion not to be missed.
